Position: Machine Maintenance Tech

Location: Tulsa, OK

Pay: Up to $35/hour

Education: High School or GED. Technical training and related certifications are a plus.

Type: Full-time; Contract

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:00am to 2:30pm or 7:00am to 3:30pm (Ability to work overtime, weekends, or holidays)

ProRecruiters is seeking a Machine Maintenance Tech to join a growing and dynamic team! 

Job Description:

1. Perform routine preventive maintenance on a weekly basis as indicated by the operating manual.
2. Observe, test, and assess the operation of machines to detect the cause of malfunction.
3. Talk with operators and supervisors about machinery and maintenance problems.
4. Read and follow blueprints, sketches, diagrams, lubrication charts, operation manuals, and engineering specifications.
5. Examine parts for defects, such as breakage or excessive wear.
6. Repair, replace, and align machinery and equipment parts, using tools such as screwdrivers, electrical test meters, wrenches, and hoists.
7. Clean and lubricate machine parts.
8. Use catalogs to order replacement parts.
9. Test machines to ensure repairs meet specifications.
10. Take apart and reassemble machinery parts as required.
11. Provide training for new department members as required

Position Requirements:   

1. Frequently handles and lifts material ranging from 5 to 25 pounds, occasionally up to 50 pounds.
2. Exposure to heat, cold, dust, noise, oil, and coolant.
3. Personal protective equipment (PPE) is available and must be used to protect from any personal exposure to contaminants.
4. Outlook, Microsoft Word, & Microsoft Excel knowledge
5. Understand electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical drawings
6. Read and understand technical manuals
7. Comfortable with hand and power tools
8. Operate hoist, overhead cranes, and forklift
